163. Mining units/cycle - in Science and Industry [original thread]
First off, you don't give a ship fit (number and type of MLUs, type of mining laser, T1, T2 with T1 crystals, T2 with T2 crystals) nor pilot implant details (there's two that can matter). The difference between none/T1 or all of them plus T2/T2 i...

166. Number of runs for T2 WS - in Science and Industry [original thread]
My guess is that you've started using T1 BPCs with less runs on them. Using maxrun T1 module BPCs should get you 10 runs on any invented T2 module BPC without the need for any decryptors.

Why on Earth would you ever entertain the idea of a player on a trial account that mining might even remotely be a good idea ? You should spare him the indignity and utter skull-crushing boredom that is mining and direct him towards just about ANY...

Here's a thought. If you were running at 58.67% of CPU and 32% of Grid, why don't you find a way to go down to under 50% CPU and switch your POS tower down one size ?

172. Invention Idea - in Science and Industry [original thread]
It was suggested ever since the introduction of invention that T1 BPC ME/PE levels should affect the T2 BPC ME/PE levels to some degree, and the idea was even repeated occasionally by CCP people. As you can see, it's still not in the game. Person...

You're already getting a 2.5% waste instead of 10% with just ME:3, which is already quite low. Or 2% waste with ME:4, which is not that much worse compared to the 0.625% of ME:15 (only 1.375% difference). One ME level in a POS lab takes about 2 d...
